About me
Hello, I am Jlenia, nice to meet you.
Let me introduce myself and share something about me.
I was born in Italy and I still live here, specifically in Sicily. My passion is learning languages, that's why I studied English, Spanish, and Korean.
I also like traveling, I love discovering new cultures and new places, and meeting new people.
What can we study together?
Many exercises are customized, such as translations, audio tests created by me with the use of Italian films.
Italian for daily conversations. You will learn how to order at the restaurant, how to book a hotel room, useful words for travelling.
Preparation for CELI exam and B1 exam for citizenship.
Grammar and vocabulary useful in any situation.
Pronunciation tips and some tricks to speak as natives
My method
With my method you will develop these four skills at the same time:
1. Reading: you will be able to read and understand articles, announcements, stories.
2. Writing: you will be able to write about many topics and you will be able to use Italian to communicate with restaurants, hotels, and your Italian friends.
3. Listening: you will be able to understand daily conversations, newscast, movies, and audiobooks.
4. Speaking: you will be able to speak fluently about many topics.
You will learn grammar using an inductive method, it means that during our lesson, thanks to movies, books, dialogues, songs, and other materials, you will learn rules using the language, not because you had to memorize them.
I use the communicative approach because my goal is developing your speaking skill as much as possible. Of course, at the beginning, I will use your language as a bridge, so you will fully understand Italian thanks to your native language.
Moreover, I want to know my students, so we will talk about your interests, and we will build our Italian lessons plan together.
Last but not least, I will create a comfortable environment for you to continue your learning journey.
